VIENNA ART WEEK 2012, November 19-25 & Vienna Gallery Weekend 2012, November 23-25

The Art Festival program titled ’Predicting Memories’  focuses on art as a reservoir of memory and knowledge.

The program is very ambitious: during the whole week visitors can go to exhibitions and panels or workshops in museums and art institutions, participate in gallery tours, studio tours, see performances, alternative space projects and artist initiatives.

The program starts with a symposium on Monday 19 November followed by guided tours, openings and films in the evening. Every following day offers an equally interesting program.

The panel discussions and lectures in the Dorotheum are focused on collecting, the art market, and the value of art in times of economic insecurity.

F.E.A.G.A. participates in these series and our specialist Mr. Antoon Ott (art historian and lawyer of Artilaw), gives the lecture ‘The Resale Right Directive and other Measures: How the European Art Market is Being Spoiled”.

Date: Friday 23 November 12.00 noon-12.45 p.m. in Dorotheum, Dorotheergasse 17, 1010 Vienna.

You are all cordially invited. Please forward this invitation to all your members.
