VISIBLE – INVISIBLE – The FEAGA European Gallery Awards

The European Gallery Award, founded by F.E.A.G.A.(The Federation of European Art Galleries Association) was created to honour outstanding European galleries, and to make the work of galleries, their dedication and support for the arts more visible and valued.

We are happy to present the LIFETIME Award and INNOVATION and CREATIVITY Award of 2013.

For the 9th time the AWARDS will be presented at the opening of ART BASEL 12 June 2013 10  a.m.,  in a ceremony and in the presence of the FEAGA board and president with the special cooperation of ART BASEL.
The Jury consists of:

Victor Gisler, Zürich, Switzerland

The Awards are created by sculptor LEO ZOGMAYER / Austria
depicting the visible and invisible effort that goes into being a dedicated gallery.

This year the Lifetime Award goes to Leslie Waddington (GB)

The Innovation and Creativity Award goes to Ani Molnár Gallery (Hungary)

 

The Federation of European Art Gallery Association (F.E.A.G.A.) has been created in 2005. Its members are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy,The Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. Contacts are with Portugal and Turkey.

The main issues are European issues: Droit the Suite (Artists Resale Right), VAT and the image of galleries. The FEAGA Newspaper informs the members.
